On this course you will acquire the knowledge and confidence to pursue a career in the dynamic and exciting Tourism Event Management industry. You will study business, marketing, entrepreneurial skills, and human resource management necessary for business and organisational skills.
You will develop the practical skills to design, plan, promote and deliver events ranging from corporate and wedding events in hospitality venues, to regional and national festivals at the forefront of Irish tourism.
Graduates in this area will gain employment in event and entertainment venues, national and regional tourism organisations, hotels and hospitality sector, public relations, festivals, conventions, sports venues, and developing and managing one’s own business in this area.
