Hospital administration includes a diverse array of job duties to ensure that patients receive quality care and communication while at a medical facility. Situated with the largest hospital campus in the country on our doorstep, this exciting course is designed to assist you gain employment in medical administration.
If you see yourself employed as a liaison between the patient and medical staff in a hospital or medical setting, then then our highly committed team will train you in computer and reception skills, communication techniques, the use of appropriate medical terminology and relevant work experience.
You will attend college four days each week and complete one day per week in work experience in a medical administration environment. There will also be opportunity for a two-week block placement

Part-Time Option
The Back to Education Initiative (BTEI)
The Back to Education Initiative (BTEI) is a part-time option providing the learner the opportunity to achieve the award over two years. Those in receipt of unemployment payments or means-tested social welfare benefits, holders of medical cards and their dependants are entitled to free tuition. Others will be required to pay the appropriate college fees.
Course content may be revised for educational or organisational reasons.

This course leads to progression at Level 6 in Inchicore College and other FET colleges. Learners availing of this course will come from diverse social, economic and/or cultural backgrounds and may be currently employed in healthcare or re-entering the workforce.
This exciting course is designed for learners who have a strong interest in seeking employment in the medical administration sector.
