Have you ever wanted to work with people, help employees reach their best potential and learn the skills needed to work in human resources and dynamic business environments? Would you like to gain the knowledge and experience needed for interviewing, recruiting and selecting staff?
This course will help you develop your skills and knowledge of human resources and business management, in areas such as recruitment and selection, employment legislation, training and development, payroll, managing people and motivating teams. This course is perfect for anyone who wishes to work with and manage people in any aspect of industry.
Work experience is an integral part of the course where you can use all the knowledge you learn in college while also gaining valuable, practical and supported experience in a HR role. There is also a two-week block placement.

Mature applicants who have relevant experience and may not meet the above requirements are welcome to apply.
QQI 5M2102 major award may be used to access the Higher Education Links Scheme to progress to a wide range of Level 8 degrees including Business Management, Psychology and Human Resource Management at NCI, TUD and DBS.
