Health and Wellbeing Week. January 20th – 22nd,  2026

Our annual Health & Wellbeing week is starting next Tuesday the 2oth of January until Thursday the 22nd.  

We are happy to tell you that we have a full schedule (see below) of a variety of Health & Wellbeing activities and events throughout the college for the week

TUESDAY 20th JANUARY

Pre-Nursing & Pre-Paramedic Health Checks in the Hall

11am – 3pm. Basketball Tournament (SCC involvement) – Sports Centre

10am – 2pm Childcare – Plaster/Painting   Creche – Sports Centre1pm – 2pm Crochet / knitting class.  LD to confirm rooms in Main Building

 

WEDNESDAY 21st JANUARY

Pre-Nursing & Pre-Paramedic Health Checks in the Hall

10.30am – 12pm Farouq, John & Kevin Mens Talk. Room2

11am – 12pm Maggie – Womens Talk.  Room – TBC

12pm Dave Slattery  – Talk and five at home exercises – confirmed – Room 2

THURSDAY 22nd JANUARY

Pre-Nursing & Pre-Paramedic Health Checks in the Hall

11am – 12pm  CP1 – Talk Room 30

CP1 will deliver a presentation to the applied psychology, social studies and healthcare class groups. Their presentation will focus on the health and well being of the social care worker. The first half of the presentation will outline how the mental health and well being of the social care worker impacts the client, colleagues and the service. Whilst the second half of the presentation focuses on self care strategies for the social care worker. 

12pm – 1pm  Dance Class with Dancers

1.30 – 2pm Music / Trad Session Hall
