Health and Wellbeing Week 2024
Our annual Health & Wellbeing week is starting next Monday the 15th of January until Friday the 19th.
The theme of the Health & Wellbeing week is ‘Health & Wellbeing for All’
We are happy to tell you that we have a full schedule (see below) of a variety of Health & Wellbeing activities and events throughout the college for the week
Monday 15th

‘Managing Stress Workshop’ by Emma Casey, Assistant Psychologist National Learning Network (NLN): Room 30
12.00pm
‘Dance off the Blues’ with Dance Performance students in the main Hall the last student dancing wins the prize!!!

‘Safe Sex for Your Health & Wellbeing’ Talk by Nursing Coordinator/teacher Margaret Noonan: Room 30

‘A Guide to Self-Care’ by Emma Casey, Assistant Psychologist NLN: Room 30
Responding Positively to BLUE MONDAY!!! We are inviting all students and staff to wear blue, acknowledging Blue Monday and recognising there are many shades of Blue! The student/staff member with the BEST BLUE outfit will win a prize
Tuesday 16th

BusHRL6 are inviting you to meet with local agencies such as Du Paul, Focus Ireland, Frontline, St Micheal’s Outreach to name a few, who all support Health & Wellbeing for those struggling with addiction and/or homelessness: Hall

Personal Trainer L6 students are delivering a Health & Fitness & Mobility Assessment followed by Active Aging Strength & Mobility Workshop specifically for our local community groups organised and supported by South Dublin Sports Development Officer Catherine Flood, ICFE Sports Coordinator Rachel Donlon and Health Promotion Teacher Andrea McQuillan.
