Description
Paint the picture you’ve always wanted. You will be introduced to all aspects of painting for both beginners and experienced painters. You may choose to work in oil, acrylics, or watercolours. Individual tuition is provided at all levels and for each of these mediums. Free choice of subject matter including still life, seascapes, portraits, animals, birds..you are only limited by your imagination! You can bring a photo or picture to work from, a set of paints, white spirits (for cleaning brushes), a jar with a lid, canvas or board and a selection of brushes. A full list will be sent to all students who register – remember though, less is more. It is what you do with your tools because of the guidance of an experienced tutor that will give you the confidence to find your inner artist.
Sue has worked for many years teaching Art in adult education and in secondary school. She has taught oil painting, watercolours, acrylics and drawing. Sue is also an accomplished pottery teacher, though her first love is painting. She has exhibited her paintings at group shows throughout Ireland. Sue’s goal is to create a welcoming space where you will feel supported to explore, experiment, and discover your own artistic voice.
