Zara Byrne

My portfolio project started with me looking at boots. I made various observational drawing of boots and other shoes. I dismantled some of them and made cardboard constructions based on the shapes. For my next project I picked Flowers. I picked flowers for their interesting forms and colours. I made tonal studies of them and developed them into pop art style paintings. I also used them as inspiration for some 3D work I did.
