Tuesday: Painting – all levels supported.
Time: 6.30-8.30pm

Duration: 10 weeks (no class on the 18.02.25).
Course fee: €120 (It is CDETB policy that refunds are only issued if a course does not form. Before booking, please see our terms and conditions page).
Notes: A list of materials to bring will be emailed to you upon registering for the course – Laoise recommends you only get the basics to start. All courses are subject to a minimum number in order to proceed. In the event that a course is oversubscribed, places will be offered on a first-booked, first-served basis and a waiting list will then be created. You will be contacted in this event.

Description

Paint the picture you’ve always wanted. Laoise will introduce you to all aspects of  painting for both beginners and experienced painters. You may choose to work in oil, acrylics, or watercolours. Individual tuition is provided at all levels and for each of these mediums. Free choice of subject matter. Please bring a photo or picture to work from, a set of paints, white spirits (for cleaning brushes), a jar with a lid, canvas or board and a selection of brushes. A full list will be sent to all students who register – remember though, less is more. It is what you do with your tools because of the guidance of an experienced tutor that will give you the confidence to find your inner artist.

About your tutor: Laoise Nugent-Burke

Laoise Nugent-Burke has been an artist and graphic designer for over 30 years. She works in many different mediums. Oils however will always be where her heart is. As an art tutor she encourages her students to express themselves and her aim is to give them the skills to do so. This class is a relaxed fun class where you can paint at your own pace and produce oil paintings unique to you. With over 10 years’ experience teaching oil painting you will be in good hands with Laoise.
