We have all become so familiar with our four walls but does your home now need some freshening up? However, you don’t really know where to start? If so, this is the course for you.

Over ten weeks, you will learn the techniques and develop the skills to tackle a variety of home interior painting jobs with confidence. They say “fail to prepare, prepare to fail” and this is especially true when trying to create a high professional finish in your home without knowing the techniques of the trade.

On this course you will learn to prepare different surfaces and be introduced to a wide variety of paint finishes such as antiqued finishes, gilded finishes, colour washes, stone effects, wood effects, and marbling. You will practice stencilling and printing and even have a go at hand painted repeat patterns.

These skills can then be transferred to your interior walls, floors, and furniture. You are limited only by your imagination when you have a strong skillset. Maybe you would like to update your kitchen by repainting those cabinets, or creatively paint/stencil your child’s room, or maybe up-cycle a small furniture item? You will practice these skills, with Ciara in class, on boards and different surfaces. Learning by doing will give you the confidence to style your home, your way, and at a fraction of the cost.
