Monday: Interior home painting techniques
Time: 7.00-8.30pm
Start date: 11.09.23 (No class on 30.10.23).
Duration: 10 weeks.
Course fee: 110 euro Materials fee: 30 euro, payable, in cash, on the first day to the tutor. (It is CDETB policy that refunds are only issued if a course does not form. Before booking, please see our terms and conditions page).
Notes: Please wear clothes that are suitable for painting in. All courses are subject to a minimum number in order to proceed. In the event that a course is oversubscribed, places will be offered on a first-booked, first-served basis and a waiting list will then be created. You will be contacted in this event.
Description
Ciara will introduce you to a wide variety of paint finishes that will help you to create your own customised furnishings in your own home. Learning by doing will give you the confidence to style your home, your way, and at a fraction of the cost.
Ciara McGoldrick is an artist, decorator, and interior painter from Dublin. She is an IADT Arts graduate and recipient of the Dock arts graduate award. Ciara has an extensive portfolio of work in Ireland and abroad. These include commercial and private projects, such as the reinstatement of the original stencil work in St. Aidan’s Cathedral, Enniscorthy and Arnott’s window displays. Ciara is a big believer in hands-on learning and encourages all her students to trust themselves, experiment, and have fun.
