Description
These classes are geared toward those with some experience playing the violin and will incorporate practical activities that enhance your learning, including:
- Group Performance: you will participate in group recitals and ensemble playing to apply your skills in a collaborative setting.
- Technique Workshops: these sessions will involve practical exercises focusing on bowing, finger placement, and posture, allowing you to practice and refine your techniques.
- Music Interpretation: you will work on interpreting a piece of music, which can involve both individual practice and group discussions
About your tutor: Kelsie Jones
Kelsie Jones is a native of Crumlin with a love for music that began in 2006 when she started to play the violin. Her dedication and passion for her art led to Kelsie travelling the world playing with numerous orchestras and musicians. Kelsie is passionate about giving back to the community and to giving others the opportunity to experience the joy of playing an instrument “I want to share my love for music to help encourage positive experiences and opportunities for people of all ages, as I truly believe it’s never too late to pick up an instrument and learn.”
