Description

Embark on an exciting journey into the German language with our 10-week German Language for beginner’s course. This program is designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in German and aims to build a solid foundation in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Perfect for evening learners, this course provides a structured yet engaging environment to develop your language skills.

Course Objectives

• Explore German Culture: Gain insights into German customs, traditions, and societal norms to enrich your understanding of the language.

About your tutor: Fiona Doyle

Fiona is a graduate from European Studies specialising in French and German language, literature, film, and culture. She also has a postgraduate Diploma in Pure Linguistics. Teaching all her life in English as a foreign language; at home and abroad, and teaching French and German part time, together with translation work also, Fiona uses the communicative approach for evening classes which has an emphasis on speaking and listening as well as reading and writing. Additional costs: Fiona will be using materials including coursebooks and cds in class and students can purchase her recommended coursebook for approximately €20 euro.
