Healthcare support for children is extremely rewarding as a career. Children have unique needs and our experienced staff will guide you through the theory, skills and attitudes to assist children from 0-18 years with their health and wellbeing and learn how to communicate with families.
Our highly experienced staff will lead you to realise the importance of developmental milestones in your work experience with children in hospitals, childcare and special needs settings.
Work experience placements take place in any setting working with children’s health and wellbeing including hospitals, special education and community health services and you will attend for 1 day per week and a block placement in the Spring.
