Description

Ballet for Beginners

This class is suitable for improvers. An improver will be familiar and secure in the basic vocabulary at the barre and in the centre. You will continue to work and develop these fundamentals while developing strength and coordination. Each class will start at the barre. You will then move into the centre of the room and transfer the barre work into the centre and also work on pirouette technique, adage, and the three different types of allegro – petit, middle, and grand. The focus will be on coordination and posture. You will finish class with a stretch and cooldown. This class is suitable for all ages and is wonderful for men and women. All are welcome to learn in a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment.
