ICFE Art Portfolio Course
End of year Showcase 2021

We are delighted to bring you this online version of our end of year exhibition.

We have had a great year on the Art and Design Portfolio Course here at ICFE. As you will see as you browse the exhibition, each student has found their own artistic voice and has discovered new ways to express their ideas and creativity.

The students have produced work in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, collage, photography and video and have explored a myriad of themes such as memory, nature, balance, home, traces, danger, body, and self. It has been very interesting to see how the particular circumstances of the year have influenced the students work but it has in no way reduced the creativity and determination of these students. I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate the students on their great work throughout the year and especially since the college buildings closed in January. I’d also like to congratulate them on their success in their art college applications – we have had another very good year with our portfolio scores. On behalf of the students, I’d like to thank all the teachers on the course for their expertise, guidance and individual attention during the year and also the college Principal and Deputy Principals for their continued support for our course. I would like to wish all the students every success on whatever path they take next and ask only that they keep creating and keep in touch.I would like to wish all the students every success on whatever path they take next and ask only that they keep creating and keep in touch.Enjoy the exhibition!Eoghan O Reilly
