Joshua Lawlor

My main portfolio project was looking at the connection and closeness between people, something that seemed scarce at the time of creating my portfolio. I started off this project by focusing on a place my best friend and I visited all the time last summer, a place that felt like it was just ours, where we felt safe and close to one another. That led to me thinking about other things that helped me feel close to people, whether that’s physical touch, a certain memory, or a nostalgic object.
