Gemma Rose Varszegi

Nature has a way of removing distractions, it captures my attention by its beauty and uniqueness full of lessons I can draw from. My work this year was heavily inspired by nature, I captured it in my paintings, sculptures and photographs. I enjoyed adding a twist by creating paintings that looked alive with elements of nature making up new creatures along the way. This year I discovered that painting was not the only thing I enjoyed to do, I dabbled in sculpting and metalwork for the first time and I loved trying each of them, I was especially intrigued by metal work. After this year I look forward to further exploring metalwork and textiles.
