Anita Forde
My work is based on my pet bird being behind bars and imagining herself being free.
The media I used were pens, pencils, acrylic paints, ink and wire. I also worked with collage and photography. I created a series of paintings where I was looking at ideas to do with confinement and freedom. I also made some 3D work where I used the form of a bird’s claw as a starting point.vI also included some self portraits I did during the year.
I hope to develop my art skills to become an Illustrator in the future.
