Tourism Studies - Level 5

Tourism Studies – Level 5

1 Year Full Time Course
QQI Level 5

I think it is good because it gives you a view of what working in the whole tourism industry is like.

About The Course

This course is designed to prepare you for employment in various sectors of the tourism industry or to progress your studies to a higher level. The course is made up of industry-linked modules, guest speakers from the industry, visits to a range of tourist attractions and work experience.

The variety of teaching methods gives you the opportunity to link the theory with the practical and gain a broad understanding of how the tourism industry operates. We offer a number of optional qualifications including a qualification from the Academy of Aviation in Airport Passengers Services and in Occupational First Aid.

Graduate Profile

Richmond Barracks

“I picked Inchicore College because it covered a lot of areas like airline studies and learning travel agency work. I think it is good because it gives you a view of what working in the whole tourism industry is like.

I like my class, they are all very supportive and helpful towards each other. I also like the teachers, they are understanding and easy to talk to.

I didn’t think we would go on as many trips as we have done and I enjoy going to my work experience placement every week.”
