Lisa Krugel - Graduated 2011
While studying at ICFE, Lisa was lucky enough to be given
the opportunity to design the set for Orphans for Smashing
Times/Playleft Productions at the Focus Theatre, as well as
A Midsummer Night's Dream at the college. Since then she
continues to work as a freelance Stage Designer. Recent
credits include The Watchman – The New Theatre, Airswimming
- Idir Mná, La Traviata - Glasthule Opera Festival (Directed
by ICFE's Helene Montague), Love In Dublin - Fire and Ice
Theatre Co./Focus Theatre, and Reunion - The New Theatre. Images of these can be seen on

and Marsha Hunt. She greatly enjoys her work and is
grateful for the opportunities, inspiration and
encouragement she has gained from her tutors and colleagues
at ICFE.
Paul Doran - Graduated 2011
Since I left Inchicore I've been pretty much working at

David Tiernan - Graduated 2005

David works in Production Management,
Site/Venue Management/ electrics and as
a Re-Light /Chief Electrician. He has
worked for most Irish theatre
companies/theatres and has toured
internationally as Production Manager
with Brokentalkers Theatre Company to
New York, France, Dublin, Finland and
New Zealand.
He has also worked for International
Arts Festivals including Ten Days on The
Island (Tasmania), Galway Arts Festival,
Dublin Fringe Festival, Dublin Theatre
Festival, Kilkenny Arts Festival,
Kilkenny Cat Laughs, and Dublin
International Dance Festival.
Re-Light credits include Irish tours
with Ouroborus Theatre Company, Barabbas,
Upstate, Yew Tree, Red Kettle, Everyman
Palace, Ten.42 and City Theatre. After
working in Australia as a lighting
technician for a year, David currently
lives in New Zealand and has worked as
Assistant Site Manager for a large site
for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

Angels) and Karen Egan, Love Me or Leave Me. Last summer worked for a touring rock and roll touring

Richard Collins - Graduated 2010
Since leaving Inchicore I have been working both freelance
and in Garter Lane Theatre as a lighting technician. I am
also resident lighting designer for Waterford Youth Arts and
technical manager for Waterford Image Arts Festival, running
a theatre space throughout the festival. And in recent
months, alongside some friends of mine, have set up a
theatre company.
Shane Burke - Graduated 2008
I did three more years of Study at Rose Bruford college
where I received a 2.1 for B A in lighting design. I have
done a number of small lighting designs in a number of
British Theatre's and I am currently Head of Lighting at the
Unicorn Theatre London where I am designing a story teller
show and am assistant designer for two Greek Tragedies later
this year. My other duties at the theatre include been a
general lighting technician.
Eilish Murphy - Graduated 2008
After finishing Inchicore in 2008 I went onto the Liverpool
Institute of Performing Arts and gained a Ba Hons degree in
Theater and Performance Technology. After graduating in July
2011 I began working for Celebrity Cruise lines in September
2011 as an Apprentice Lighting Technician.
Cloda O'Loughlin - Graduated 2008
Career wise she dabbled in several aspects that the course
covered including; wig maintenance, stage management, set
design, audio and event management.
However, Cloda chose to follow a career in lighting.
Cloda worked as house lighting technician for the Olympia
theatre from 2007-2011.
As a freelance lighting technician Cloda has worked on
events such as Oxegen, Vivid, Electric Picnic, Bondi Winter
Festival, City to Surf, Sydney Festival and Arthurs Day.
Cloda currently lives in Sydney, Australia where she has
worked in several venues including Sydney Opera House,
Sydney entertainment Center, The Seymour Center and Sydney
Theatre.
Emma O Donnell - Graduated 2007
After completing the Technical Theatre course at Inchicore I
went to IADT to study a BA in Production Design and Art
Direction. Since graduating I have worked in film and
television art departments. The jobs have been interesting
and diverse: George Gently, a 1960’s English Police Drama
for BBC. Earthbound, a modern day science fiction film set
in Dublin. The Rafters and Love Eternal, two films that are
twisted love stories. I’ve even worked on a few
Rubberbandits videos. My roles can range from graphic artist
to on-set stand by, set dresser, model maker, painter, prop
maker, photographer or department co-ordinator; such is the
life of an Assistant Art Director.
Padraig O Suilleabhain - Graduated 2006
Lighting Designer Originally from Ireland, Padraig moved to Australia in 2008.
His Irish credits include Technical Manager for City Theatre
Dublin before moving to Ireland’s national theatre, The
Abbey Theatre as a Lighting Technician. Productions he
worked on include The Matchmaker and Vagina Monologues for
City Theatre Dublin, Romeo and Juliet, An Ideal Husband, 3
Sisters, Kicking a Dead Horse, and Julius Caesar for The
Abbey Theatre. His other Irish carer highlights comprise of Technical
Management for the 2008 International Puppet Festival, a
Polish tour of Townlands of Brazil for Axis Arts Centre as
the Relight Technician, Riverdance, Castle Ward Opera,
Celtic Nights Summer Cabaret, West Side Story for Jim Molloy
Productions, Cyrano for Barabbas, I Keano for Little Lane
Productions. Since working in Australia, Padraig’s credits include: Let
the sun shine, Duets, Little dog Laughed, Cow Jumped Over
The Moon, for Ensemble, Sydney Regional Dance, Breast
Wishes, Inside Out and Thursday’s Child for The Seymour
Theatre Centre, touring Electrician for Steel Magnolias, Six
Characters for Sydney Festival and The Sapphires for Black
Swan and Belvoir St Theatre. Joining Bangarra in 2010, Padraig has worked as Head
Electrician on of earth & sky, Mathinna, Spirit and Belong.
Stephen Page’s new work Warumuk – in the dark night will be
Padraig’s Australian lighting design debut.
Cormac Veale - Graduated 2004
Cormac moved from Inchicore to become Technical Manager at
the O Reilly Theatre for 3 years. Production Manager at City
Theatre, Dublin for one year. In 2008 Cormac Moved to Stage
Lighting Centre Irelands Leading theatre lighting company
for 2 years working in Sales area from consumables to
installations and Technical support on hire equipment used
by clients. In 2010 Cormac left SLC to become Relight on the
Riverdance Corrib tour. Since then he is now Head of
lighting for The Moy Company (Riverdance) which tours
extensively around the world.
Kevin Hynes - Graduated 2003
Kevin first became involved in theatre working on school
plays and in his local amateur theatre as a lighting and
sound technician. He then went on to study Sound and
Lighting at Inchicore from 2000-2003 while working
professionally on productions for Opera Ireland such as
Tosca and Carmen as well as college productions that
included Godspell, Twelfth Night and As you like it. After
graduating with distinction he spent a year touring Ireland
and Denmark as a freelance lighting and sound engineer
before accepting a job with RTÉ. While working for RTÉ Kevin
trained in TV lighting programming and vision control,
working on a vast number of shows including, the world’s
longest running chat show, The Late Late Show, The Late Late
Toy Show, The Republic of Telly, Prime Time, Fair City and
RTÉ News. Kevin is an innovator, introducing the latest
lighting technology to the broadcast industry in Ireland.
Using media servers to provide graphics for TV and Live
performance, Kevin has worked as a programmer on productions
such as The All Ireland Talent Show and O2 Smart Sounds
featuring Westlife, Pixi Lott and Royseven at the O2 Dublin.
He is also one of Ireland’s leading trainers in a wide range
of lighting consoles including Compulite Vector lighting
desk and Hippotizer Media Servers.
Sarah Kivlehan - Graduated 2003
During her time studying Technical Theatre at Inchicore
College, Sarah was an enthusiastic member of the production
team for various College performances. She also worked as a
freelance theatre technician around Dublin.
After graduating from Inchicore she worked as a Lighting
Technician in the Olympia Theatre. Whilst there she gained
valuable experience working on a broad range of show types,
from Theatrical shows to Musicals, Panto to Live Gigs.
Sarah continued to work as a freelance technician throughout
her time in the Olympia and has worked in most theatres
around Ireland.
After leaving the Olympia Sarah started to work with
Riverdance. She worked as a re-lighter for a number of
Riverdance productions including tours in the UK, Ireland,
Europe, and Asia.
She has since returned to college to study business
management and now works as Estimator in EventServ.
