Health Service Skills Pre-Paramedic Studies – Level 5
This full-time one year course will lead to a QQI Level 5.
The programme is provided in association with the National Ambulance Service College and will cover many aspects of healthcare training as well as paramedic topics.
This course will offer the first steps to students wishing to work in the area of paramedics or ambulance work. Students will also have a two week practical work placement in a suitable working environment as part of the course.
Course content may be revised for educational or organisational reasons.

Leaving Certificate including Maths and a Science subject desirable.
Relevant Work Experience is desirable. Interview and references required.
Mature students welcome.
Graduates from this course have the opportunity to apply to the Level 6 Healthcare Supervisory Management in Inchicore College. Students may also progress to further study through the Higher Education Links Scheme both in Ireland and the UK. Graduates may also apply to Paramedic Degree Courses in Anglia Ruskin University.
