Inchicore College we are fortunate to have a wide range of
industry standard equipment and resources available to our
students for their work in Sound Production and Sound
Design.
The students
receive training in Pro Tools as the industry standard
software package as well as Q-Lab for the sequencing and
coordination of sound cues during theatre productions.
A
comprehensive range of sound equipment including
microphones, mixing desks, recording & playback devices,
communication systems, FX machines, speakers, amplifiers,
stands, various sound production devices, sound dedicated
computers (Macintosh/Apple and PC) is available to the

In the area
of lighting we give the student experience of the wide range
of lantern types and control systems that are use in Irish
theatres.
The control
systems we have provide the students with the opportunity to
learn and gain experience of industry standard computer
programmable lighting control as well more basic lighting
control which may exist in less well resourced performance
centres such as colleges, community centres and smaller
semi-professional venues around the country.
